Project Highlights
- Developed a custom WordPress theme and matched UI styling to the corporate intranet, ensuring brand consistency.
- Structured the event schedule, speaker profiles, and JETflix (archived session library) using custom post types and Advanced Custom Fields, enabling non-technical editors to manage content easily.
- Added interconnected relationships between events, speakers, and JETflix entries so updates only needed to be applied in one place, reducing maintenance effort.
- Designed the event schedule for easy scanning and used JavaScript to automatically convert session times to each user’s local time zone, supporting a globally distributed workforce.
- Automatically generated Google Calendar links for each session using dynamically pulled event details such as title, date/time, and description.
- Created a live session page that automatically displayed the correct YouTube stream for whichever event was currently in progress.
- Embedded a YouTube stream to serve as a conference-long audio “radio” channel, providing music and atmosphere during TechFest.
- Built a fully responsive interface using Tailwind CSS, ensuring a smooth experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Integrated Google Analytics for ongoing SEO insights.
