• Co-managed the design and ongoing maintenance of the site as part of a two-person web design team.
• Built a fully responsive layout coded from scratch, improving usability across devices.
• Maintained a large-scale bilingual website with 300+ pages in English and French.
• Developed the majority of the site using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, prioritizing performance and maintainability for a smoother user experience.
• Created custom WordPress themes for the news and blog sections, matching the existing design while enabling efficient content publishing.
• Automated event and news feeds by converting RSS to JSON with a custom web app, then displaying items via jQuery so users always saw the latest news.
• Improved the training registration experience with jQuery enhancements: chained selects, conditional fields, and dynamic field creation to guide users through complex options.
• Used PHP to generate dynamic confirmation pages and email templates for the training registration to give clearer confirmation to the user.
• The website received multiple WebAwards (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016) for excellence in web design.
